The Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Tangerang Regency, held a 7-day joint prayer to commemorate the death of Mr. Drs. H. Ismet Iskandar, SE. Held in the lobby of the Bapenda office, Tuesday (10/22/2024).
It is known that Ismet Iskandar served as Regent of Tangerang for two terms, namely the 2003-2008 and 2008-2013 periods.
During his term of office, he was known as a figure who contributed to infrastructure development in Tangerang Regency, including initiating the Serpong-Balaraja toll road construction project.
The Head of Bapenda, Slamet Budi said that today coincides with the 7th day of the late Mr. Drs. H. Ismet Iskandar, SE.
As a highly respected figure, the passing of H. Ismet Iskandar certainly leaves deep sorrow, especially for the ranks of the Tangerang Regency Bapenda.
“As a form of respect, we held a joint prayer with hundreds of Bapenda employees including OB, security and taxpayers solemnly,” he said.
He emphasized that during his tenure as Regent of Tangerang, Mr. Ismet Iskandar had a nurturing nature towards his subordinates, the ASN in the Tangerang Regency Government.
“We, the extended family of the Tangerang Regency Bapenda, always remember his services and always pray that his deeds of worship will be accepted by Allah SWT,” he concluded.
