The Director General (Dirjen) of Agrarian Management, Dalu Agung Darmawan, said that Agrarian Reform is a long journey, but has a clear trajectory.
“This year we are evaluating the achievements of Agrarian Reform and at the same time we want to see the challenges we need to achieve in the coming years,” he said when met at The Meru Sanur in the context of final preparations for the implementation of the Agrarian Reform Summit, Thursday (13/06/2024) .
For your information, the 2024 Agrarian Reform Summit is a continuation of the activities of the 2023 Karimun Summit Agrarian Reform Task Force (GTRA).
The 2023 GTRA Summit produced a declaration that required an action plan, so that at the 2024 event a follow-up action plan would be carried out.
“Of course our hope is how we can resolve various Agrarian Reform problems through various action plans.
“We also want to create a database which we will then use as a basis for implementing Agrarian Reform in the next government,” explained the Director General of Agrarian Management.
The Chief Executive of the 2024 Agrarian Reform Summit, namely the Director of Community Land Empowerment, Dwi Budi Martono, explained that preparations for the peak event this time prioritized two things, namely the implementation side and the preparation side of material substance related to Agrarian Reform.
“We want to showcase the achievements of Agrarian Reform over the last 10 years, especially since 2024 is the end of the year for the 2019-2024 National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN),” said Dwi Budi Martono.
When asked why Bali was chosen as the venue for this grand event, the Chief Executive of the Agrarian Reform Summit Bali 2024 answered firmly that Bali Province was indeed the right place.
Bali Province is an example of a province where the implementation of Agrarian Reform continues to develop well.
“Bali Province has the most complete cities and regencies (100% registered land plots, ed), the implementation of electronic services and electronic land certificates is also very capable.
There are many models that could become success stories in Bali Province. “I hope that many stakeholders will also attend this Agrarian Reform activity,” concluded Dwi Budi Martono.
