Development of the land administration system in Indonesia by utilizing digitalization and other new innovations.
This was the focus of the meeting between the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and The Netherlands Cadastre in Washington DC on Tuesday (14/05/2024) local time.
In a warm meeting, both parties discussed digital transformation in the land administration sector in Indonesia.
The Ministry of ATR/BPN and The Netherlands Cadastre have been collaborating in developing the land system in Indonesia.
This meeting also discussed the follow-up to the existing Memorandum of Understanding.
Digital transformation in land administration in Indonesia is realized, among other things, in the form of electronic certificates.
This protects the public from the risk of losing land documents due to disaster or disaster.
Electronic certificates also make land administration more accountable.
Present at the meeting were a number of Middle and Primary High Leadership Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN Executive Chairman of The Netherlands Cadastre, Frank Tierrof and his staff.
