Deputy Regent Intan Emphasizes Integrated Marriage Confirmation (Isabat Nikah) as a Form of Legal Protection for Tangerang Regency Residents.

Tangerang Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah firmly instructed all sub-district heads and the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) to expedite the data collection process for the Integrated Marriage Confirmation (Isabat Nikah) program, which will be held to celebrate Tangerang Regency’s 394th anniversary.

This was conveyed by Deputy Regent Intan when opening the Integrated Marriage Confirmation (Isabat Nikah) Socialization held in the Wareng Meeting Room, Tangerang Regent’s Office Building, (May 14, 2026).

“This integrated marriage confirmation program is a form of legal protection and administrative order for every family, particularly to protect the rights of women and children in Tangerang Regency.

I ask the sub-district heads and all their staff, as well as the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) Team, to expedite the data collection and registration process,” requested Deputy Regent Intan.

She explained that the integrated marriage confirmation program targets 1,000 married couples in Tangerang Regency.

The program is a collaboration between the local government, the Tigaraksa Religious Court, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

“I am accompanied by the Tigaraksa Religious Court, as well as the Regional Development Planning Agency (DPMPD), Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil), and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

God willing, we will hold an integrated marriage confirmation program for approximately 1,000 couples throughout Tangerang Regency, free of charge,” she explained.

She noted that unregistered marriages are still common among married couples in Tangerang Regency, even among elderly couples.

According to her, unregistered marriages must be resolved immediately to prevent them from hindering children’s administrative rights and legal protection for women.

“Without official documents, women and children will have difficulty accessing school administration, and women will lose their inheritance rights,” he emphasized.

He also requested that all relevant parties continue to strengthen synergy and collaboration in conducting data validation quickly, accurately, and precisely to ensure the program truly reaches those in need.

“All regional government agencies and relevant parties must continue to build synergy without procedural obstacles, to ensure the smooth running of the integrated trial process with the Tigaraksa Religious Court and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

We want to reduce bureaucratic complexity and high costs so that the public can obtain legal certainty more easily,” he emphasized.

He continued, emphasizing that all levels of government must act quickly, considering that the Integrated Marriage Confirmation Program is one of the government’s.

Priority programs to guarantee civil rights and provide real legal protection for every family in Tangerang Regency.

“All data on prospective participants must be collected quickly to ensure the target of 1,000 couples is achieved, as scheduled for the regional celebration,” he concluded.
