Tangerang, POSINTERNASIONAL.COM.

Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, attended the 2026 World Hemophilia Day Commemoration at the Tangerang Regency Hospital Auditorium on Sunday (May 24, 2026).

On this occasion, Regent Maesyal Rasyid encouraged and warmly welcomed the parents and children of hemophilia patients who attended the event.

“Young children, stay enthusiastic, and be enthusiastic about performing the five daily prayers if you are Muslim, and others according to your beliefs.

Pray for your parents’ long lives. Parents must also be enthusiastic, accompanying and supporting their children,” said Regent Maesyal.

In his remarks, he revealed that Tangerang Regency Hospital has become a referral center in Banten Province for hemophilia patients.

He promised to continue encouraging the Banten Provincial Government to encourage regional and city hospitals (RSUD) in their respective regencies and cities to provide services to hemophilia sufferers in their respective regencies and cities, in addition to Tangerang Regency Hospital.

“I will continue to work with the governor to ensure that you, ladies and gentlemen, avoid having to travel here due to the long distance and can receive services in your respective regencies and cities.

Hopefully, we can provide services at community health centers,” he said.

According to him, improving services for hemophilia sufferers is not easy and requires thorough preparation.

From facilities and infrastructure to human resources, competent doctors and medical personnel, and other supporting facilities.

“This effort cannot be achieved instantly because it requires the availability of doctors, medical equipment, and doctors who must first undergo training.

We will continue to encourage and strive for this, albeit in stages,” he explained.

He also emphasized that the regional government has designated improving health quality as one of its priority development programs.

Including through budget allocations through the regional budget (APBD) and continued strengthening of synergy with the Social Security Agency (BPJS).

“This is a concrete manifestation of the Tangerang Regency Government.

With the permission of the Banten Provincial Government, we will consistently allocate funds through BPJS claims because the Governor has asked us to care for and prioritize hemophilia so that it can be handled by Tangerang Regency,” he concluded.

Concluding his remarks, he also urged all parties to continue providing the best possible service and caring for hemophilia sufferers, especially children and the elderly, so that they remain cheerful and enthusiastic about life.

“We must continue to protect our children from harm. Keep up the spirit of mothers and fathers. This is a mandate from the Almighty. We must show our love for our children,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Director of Tangerang Regency Hospital, Dr. Endang Widyastiwi, explained that the theme of this year’s World Hemophilia Day is “Diagnosis: First Step to Care.” Diagnosis is the first step towards treatment.

“This theme has profound meaning. Diagnosis is the first step in quickly and appropriately treating hemophilia,” Endang explained.

She also emphasized the commitment of Tangerang Regency Hospital. Tangerang, as the referral hospital for Banten Province, is committed to continuously improving its services.

Including early detection, treatment, and support for hemophilia patients through professional, humane, and sustainable services.

“Tangerang Regency Hospital is committed to continuously improving its services, including early detection, treatment, and support for hemophilia patients through professional, humane, and sustainable services.

The hospital hopes that this activity will serve as a momentum to raise public awareness about the importance of early detection of hemophilia and strengthen synergy between the government.
