South Tangerang remains congested, especially between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM WIB and 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM WIB along Jl. MH Thamrin and Jl. Raya Serpong, also known as the Cikokol highway, extending all the way to BSD in South Tangerang City, Banten.
The central government has not been able to resolve the congestion at certain points, such as the Cikokol toll road entrance to Kebun Nanas, the Samarekon toll road entrance, and the BSD-Serpong toll road entrance.
This media outlet’s monitoring indicates that traffic congestion along these roads is extremely congested.
The main roads connecting the Cikokol area (Tangerang City) with BSD/Serpong (South Tangerang) are Jl. MH Thamrin and Jl. Raya Serpong.
This road is a vital artery that runs through the Kebon Nanas and Pakulonan areas, all the way to the Serpong/BSD area.
No matter how smooth the traffic, the traffic is still excruciating.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a holiday; it’s already jammed in the mornings and evenings. “Wow, wow, how come South Tangerang is never without traffic,” said Dadi Heryanto, a resident of South Tangerang, driving a red Daihatsu.
He said, “It’s absolutely unbearable when you’re on your way to and from work, and you’re stuck in traffic.”
“The traffic on that road is a headache,” said Dadang.
